Pre-War Manhattan Duplex

This elegant pre-war duplex apartment was transformed into a sophisticated home for an Asian Antiques Dealer and Publisher of a high-profile magazine.  The residence combines Eastern antiques with contemporary furniture and fabrics to create a traditional undertone with modern accents - a fresh take on an otherwise classic theme.  The challenge of this project was to interpret the client's desire to maintain a connection with Classical art and furnishings, but with an updated twist.
